Job Description
Staff Accountant position to manage accounting operations for our trucking business. Handle accounts payable/receivable, financial reporting, and reconciliations. Transportation industry experience a plus.
Responsibilities
- Process accounts payable and receivable
- Perform monthly account reconciliations
- Prepare financial statements and reports
- Manage fuel card and expense reporting
- Handle driver payroll support
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting
- Maintain general ledger accuracy
- Support year-end audit processes
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 2-4 years accounting experience
- Transportation/trucking industry experience preferred
- QuickBooks or similar software proficiency
- Strong Excel skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- CPA candidate or pursuit of CPA a plus
