Job Description
Seeking organized dispatcher to coordinate routes, communicate with drivers, and ensure efficient operations for our growing fleet of 8 trucks. Experience with Motive and transportation management systems preferred.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and dispatch 8 trucks across nationwide routes
- Plan efficient routes and schedules
- Communicate with drivers, customers, and vendors
- Monitor shipments and provide real-time updates
- Use Motive and TMS for fleet management
- Handle customer service inquiries
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Resolve issues and emergencies quickly
Requirements
- Experience in logistics or dispatching (2+ years preferred)
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Proficiency with transportation management systems
- Motive ELD experience a plus
- Problem-solving abilities under pressure
- Microsoft Office and computer proficiency
- Ability to work flexible hours
